Every year, Chickpea Portraits runs a portrait project to help support local animal rescues, and this September and October it's the pugs' turn, with the studio open to all toy breeds too. Bring your wrinkly, snorty, big-personality pug (or your Chihuahua, Yorkie, Pomeranian, or other toy breed) into the studio for a private session, and $150 of your session fee goes straight to Tiny Paws Pug Rescue.

I'm Cyndi, Your New Photographer Bestie!
Like many little girls, I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. But when I was 16, I discovered photography and knew that was my passion. Combining my love of pets and photography is what brings me joy, creating images that tug at your heartstrings and make you laugh out loud is my superpower.
When not working you can find me on the beach, painting watercolors, or binge-watching the latest Netflix series. Oh, and I almost forgot, cake. I love cake. Lemon, chocolate, carrot… yum!

Why pugs, why now?
Every year, Chickpea Portraits runs a portrait project to support a local animal rescue. This September and October it's Tiny Paws Pug Rescue's turn, with $150 of every session going directly to their work.
Is there a waitlist?
No waitlist, we're taking bookings now. Pick your date directly on the booking calendar to reserve your September or October session. There are only 20 12 spots left, so don't wait too long.
Do you only photograph pugs?
Not at all. This fundraiser is pug-focused, but we welcome all toy breeds, Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Pomeranians, Shih Tzus, Maltese, toy and miniature Poodles, and more. $150 of every session still goes to Tiny Paws Pug Rescue no matter which breed you bring in.
I have other dogs that aren't toy breeds, can they come too?
Absolutely, bring the entire furry pack into our studio, and you can get in some photos too. Capturing the bond between humans and their dogs is my favorite thing to do.

Where is the studio located?
We're thrilled to have a spot in charming and historic Point Richmond, the hidden waterfront city of the East Bay. Many clients enjoy hanging around in Point Richmond after (or before) the session to grab lunch or dinner, enjoy the shops and art gallery, grab a beer at the local pub, or head to the beach. Every session is $200 (total value $925) and includes a matted, frame-ready 5x7 Fine Art print, plus a $150 discount off any additional purchase. $150 of your session fee is donated directly to Tiny Paws Pug Rescue.
How much do prints cost?
Fine art prints and digital files start at $895 for a set of 3, and many clients choose to invest between $600 and $1,200 in their collection, depending on the pieces and sizes you select.
